Behind RN Influence: Da’Naja Mosley, BSN, RN

RN Influence was created to empower the new wave of nurses, nursing students, future nurses, and healthcare professionals to walk boldly in purpose — with confidence, clarity, and community.
Founded by Da’Naja Mosley, BSN, RN, a 19-year-old Pediatric ICU Nurse from Dallas, TX, the brand was born from real experiences — not just aesthetics. Da’Naja’s journey of influence began long before graduating from the accelerated 15-month Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program at the University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing and Health Innovation. In her junior year of high school, she founded the Society of Black Students in Healthcare — a passion project that grew into a thriving organization, creating opportunities, resources, mentorship, and visibility for underrepresented high-school and college students pursuing careers in healthcare.
While in nursing school, Da’Naja shared her journey weekly on YouTube through her series Nursing School Diaries, documenting every triumph and challenge across 54 episodes. Her transparency and determination resonated with thousands, creating a loyal and supportive community.
Before even graduating, Da’Naja secured 3 competitive ICU residency offers and 1 in Labor & Delivery. In that moment, she realized her journey wasn’t just about becoming a nurse — it was about becoming influential.
She knew firsthand how isolating and overwhelming nursing school and early career decisions could feel. From surviving clinicals to juggling coursework and self-doubt — what was missing wasn’t talent, it was targeted support, relatable guidance, and a safe space to grow.
So she created it.
